MEASURING FOR YOUR DYNAMIC SLEEVE:  Visit our  Juzo Sizing Guide for information on how to measure for your compression arm sleeve, and gauntlet (sold separately).

All compression garments should be replaced after six months of normal wear. They start losing their effectiveness after that time, and will appear looser. You will start to lose the maximum benefits of your compression strength after this time. We recommend marking the date on the retail box they came in. You'll also have the box codes for your next order.

It is recommended that you consult your medical professional and fitter for proper guidelines on the use and application of this product. As therapy progresses or new symptoms develop, it may be necessary to take new measurements for a new compression garment.

It is also recommended that you put your compression arm sleeve on first thing in the morning every day. Rough fingernails, jagged rings, etc. can damage fabric. Use a Juzo latex-free donning glove (sold separately) to protect your garment.

About Compression Levels:

Compression garments are rated by the amount of pressure that they apply to the skin surface in millimeters of mercury (mmHg). Lower ratings provide enough pressure for comfort and some preventative properties. Higher ratings will also provide comfort but also provide more therapeutic levels of pressure needed to treat some more severe conditions.

  • 15 - 20 mmHg rated garments are considered light compression and can be helpful in minimizing varicose veins, spider veins, edema, thrombosis or venous insufficiency.
  • 20 - 30 mmHg rated compression garments are considered light medical compression and are used by people who suffer from moderate swelling or for preventing blood clots after surgery. Garments with this rating should only be purchased on the advice of a physician or other health professional to avoid causing additional medical damage or injury.
  • 30 - 40 mmHg rated compression garments are considered medium medical compression stockings and are chosen if you have moderate to severe varicose veins during pregnancy or due to another condition, moderate edema, after a vein treatment like vein stripping, as a treatment for ulcers, and to combat diseases like lymphedema. Garments with this rating should only be purchased on the advice of a physician or other health professional to avoid causing additional medical damage or injury.
