Sizing for Sigvaris Compression Garments

When to measure: It is important that the edema is at its most reduced state. Most often, this is first thing in the morning or at the end of treatment.

Measuring:

• Ankle Circumference:  Measure the ankle circumference at the narrowest part of the ankle, above the ankle bone.
• Calf Circumference:  Measure the calf circumference at the widest part of the calf.
• Thigh Circumference:  Measure the thigh at the groin.
• Hip Circumference:  Measure the hips at their widest part.
• Leg Length:  Measure from the floor up to the gluteal fold.
